IRIS DIAZ
BIOGRAPHY
Iris Diaz brings a strong background in employment law, civil litigation, and consumer protection to Diefer Law. A first-generation Mexican-American born and raised in San Diego, Ms. Diaz developed a passion for workplace justice early in life after witnessing labor rights violations in her community. She has worked in a variety of legal settings, including in-house counsel at Sony Electronics, plaintiff-side employment litigation, and lemon law.
During law school, Ms. Diaz focused on employment and discrimination law and served in leadership roles in multiple student organizations supporting diversity and inclusion. She is a committed advocate for minority rights and employee protections in California.

EXPERIENCE
While earning her J.D. at California Western School of Law, Ms. Diaz completed coursework in employment and discrimination law and served on the boards of student organizations focused on civil rights and legal equity. She previously worked in legislative public relations and student advocacy at UC Davis, and has continually championed causes that empower underserved communities.
Outside of her legal work, Iris enjoys connecting with her community, supporting workplace rights advocacy, and exploring San Diego’s diverse neighborhoods.
