Dean Ho
BIOGRAPHY
When employers ignore the law, or even worse, act as if they are above the law, timely and decisive action needs to take place. Not holding employers accountable for legal violations not only sends a dangerous message to employees, but to society as a whole. Attorney Dean Ho strongly believes there is no place for workplace injustice and passionately fights employers to hold them accountable for their legal violations.
Mr. Ho has experience representing both employers and employees, individually and in class actions, in all areas of employment law, including discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, retaliation, and misclassification of employees. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Ho worked in Silicon Valley as a software information developer for Oracle Corporation.
Prior to joining Diefer Law Group, Mr. Ho practiced at a prominent employment law firm in Orange County where he honed his skills as a tough litigator and compassionate adviser. Mr. Ho has law and motion writing experience at the trial and appellate levels and has appeared before judges in bench trials, trials, and three-judge appellate panels.
Mr. Ho served as judicial extern to the Honorable Oswald Parada, Magistrate Judge, of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Mr. Ho has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2017-2018 and 2021-2024 —a recognition awarded to only 2.5% of attorneys. Mr. Ho has also been recognized as achieving one of the largest employment law settlements in California in 2017.
